Really? I can fly a plane? Oh great! So now what do I do? Keep flying the plane? How about if I add guns? What? I can't add to many weapons or else it won't just be a sim? Well, than I guess these WW2 guns on my WW2 sim plane will have to do. Wow this is boring. Damn, I suppose I'll make it an action game.
Part of your problem is that you are coming up with this stuff off of your tastes and without any knowledge of the market beyond video game "critics" or something. Virtual airlines are quite a popular and complex past time, though to you they probably seem boring and pointless (and I am willing to bet you have never even actually played one.) http://www.deltava.org/ for example.

well, we latched on pretty hard to SMBX to make mario games when someone stumbled upon it. Is there an easy to use LOZ editor out there?
